How Happy Nest started

After years of executive support & business development in recruitment & other industries across the globe, Ella chose to combine her skills with something very important to her.  So in 2012, Happy Nest Nanny Agency was established to offer families a personal and comprehensive service to find that perfect nanny for their family, in the safest and most compliant way possible.

About Ella

As the eldest of four, Ella was very close to their nanny, Altair. As a live out nanny, Altair provided full time sole charge care to the whole family, as both parents worked and traveled long hours. Her support was more than just child care, she was a friend, and became the big sister Ella never had. Altair was their Mary Poppins and had everything in order – from housekeeping to busy music and sports lesson schedules.  Altair continues to support Ella today and has provided valuable guidance on the development of Happy Nest. Ella is hugely ambitious and believes wholeheartedly that a personal, driven approach will prove more successful than the standard industry approach.

  • We make it personal: we all want to enjoy our work and pushing CVs around is not fun.  So instead we produce brilliant profiles about our nannies to give to interested families. It has all the important bits but with a lot more information about each nanny’s personality in there!
