Nanny – Part-Time, After School
- Job Ref: HN RAYLEIGH
- Location: Rayleigh Essex
- Job Type: Part-time
- Salary: £14 to £16 per hour, gross
After School Nanny required in Rayleigh , Essex for an adorable 6 year old girl and her older brother age 14. Our new family from Rayleigh are searching for a warm and friendly part time nanny to assist 5 days per week to help with after school care for their two children.
The family live in the quiet residential suburb of Rayleigh in Essex. They are a very welcoming and professional family working in the city who would like some extra support with afterschool care, five days per week – Monday to Friday. Hours will be 4.5 hours per day, 3pm – 7.30pm.
The position would typically involve at 3pm collect Miss 6 bringing her home for a snack & relax time and catch up on some school work.Their daughter currently attends a primary school in Rayleigh which is around a 20 minute walk (depending on how many ladybirds or flowers you can spot on the way home), Mr 14 makes his own way home from the local secondary school and arrives home around 3.30pm has a snack and starts homework at 4pm.
The children have plenty going on during the week once they are back into the school routine and there will be after school activities to take them to. Miss 6 is an active girl and enjoys hockey club and swimming so you will need to be a driver to accommodate this. She loves arts and crafts so get your Pinterest Board up to date with lots of sticky crafting activities up your sleeve. You’ll also need to channel your inner Barbie skills as this girl loves all things barbie and will spend hours making up games with her dolls house. She’s a confident girl once she gets to know you and has a good circle of friends. It will be nice to arrange play dates after school so she can get back to her sociable self after lockdown.
Mr 14 is a great older brother who looks out for his younger sister. He is in his Gcse year at school so some of your time will be spent encouraging him to engage in his homework afterschool. He’s a big fan of the box set so you can easily cajole him to his work with the promise of a few episodes of Gotham or The Walking Dead once he’s done. He’s a well behaved boy doing well at school a little quieter than his sister but also enjoys after school activities such as running club. Both Children attend Theatre School at the weekend so lots of scope for some impromptu rehearsals of The Greatest Showman would go down a storm during the week!
