Full Time Live OUT Nanny / Housekeeper/ Mother’s help Chorley, Lancs
Happy Nest are seeking an experienced Nanny Housekeeper for a busy family with five children 8mths, 3,5,7 & 8 in Chorley, Lancashire on a full time live out basis.
The ideal nanny will be experienced in providing care for young children, and accustomed to the typical nanny housekeeper role for managing a busy household. You’ll need to be proactive in managing the daily comings and goings and run an efficient schedule when undertaking the various daily errands.
The children, two girls and 3 boys lead busy and active lifestyles between school and extra-curricular activities and mum runs a successful business so needs an extra pair of hands around the home but is very much around in day-to-day family life so it’s very much a shared care supportive role.
Your main priority within this role is to be present, and to offer support to mum when needed.
You’ll really enjoy this position if you love to work proactively. It’s important that you’re able to set your own tasks, and prioritise errands within your daily agenda.
This role requires you to be available for the children when needed so mum can spend some one to one time with each child. School drop offs are not required as mum will continue with school runs.
The ideal nanny will be pet friendly, as they have a rather cute sausage dog.
- 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday with a later finish Wednesday 7pm
Meal preparation for the children at lunchtime and some batch cooking is also required, and you will benefit greatly in this role if you’re confident in the kitchen
You’ll also run errands related to the household and children’s purchases (like returning items), and keep up to date with both the children’s school admin and household admin. All housekeeping duties will apply,
- Vacuuming the carpets and floors,
- Ensuring all bedrooms and bathrooms are always clean,
- Regularly check food supplies and list anything required
- Check children’s wardrobes are kept tidy
- Kitchen Hygiene
- Mopping floor,
- Food shopping and preparing lunches
- Family Laundry and ironing
- Must be a driver
- An up to date first aid certificate
- A recognised childcare qualification
- Minimum at least 2 years’ experience
- Enhanced DBS certificate
