Executive NANNY/ Housekeeper Private Household Live in or Live out position
This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Nanny Housekeeper to work for a family known to Happy Nest Nanny agency in Bath, Somerset.
You would be working for a gentleman who has three children. Twins aged 3 years and an older daughter aged 8– they spend their time living between the Bath house and their mother’s home on an agreed permanent schedule.
Your role will include:
Caring and looking after the three children, in addition helping with their development and nurturing their naturally inquisitive nature. Assisting with mealtimes, bath and bedtime routine, keeping the children’s bedrooms in order and also doing the children’s laundry.
Children’s schedule with their father is below to give you an indication of the split of the role.
From 5pm Friday-Sunday every other weekend – You will be needed to work this weekend but will be given the following Monday & Tuesday off to accommodate this. The children also spend every Wednesday with Dad.
So the following week the children are here Wednesday and Friday 9.30-6pm you will then have the weekend free.
Organising the children’s diary and assisting with after school activities.
All general household shopping both in person or online running errands ,keeping the house presentable and clean including bathrooms bedrooms and kitchen areas , dealing with dry cleaning, laundry.
Keeping the household diary.
Paying the household bills.
Liaising with suppliers and also contractors as needed.
It is essential that you like dogs as the family have two friendly dogs.
Essential Requirements:
- It is essential that you have worked as a Nanny and Housekeeper in a similar role for at least three years.
- You will need to speak and also write excellent English.
- It is important that you are extremely organised and furthermore proactive.
- Excellent checkable references
Hours: The role will be typically 50 hours a week over 7 days as required time off in lieu of weekend work will be given during the week.
