Full Time, Early Years Live Out Nanny for Busy Family in Christleton, Chester
Happy Nest are seeking a proactive and flexible nanny to join this busy family of four (two children, two parents) on a full time, live out basis 5 days a week. The family are relocating from a year working in Canada and are not familiar with the area so you can act as an’ in house’ tourist guide and let them know all the best places to grab a coffee and where all the secret beauty spots are.
The ideal nanny will be caring, fun and full of energy, whilst also being highly organised, proactive, and open to flexibility. You’ll need to have an understanding of good nutrition for children and have a keen interest in preparing healthy meals.
This delightful pair – a nearly 4-year-old and nearly 2-year-old – love to enjoy life. Miss 3 is a very relaxed child with a fun sense of humour, she is very caring of her younger brother, mature for her age and listens well to explanations. She is independent and keen to learn. You will have lots of time enjoying craft activities together as she is very creative. She is starting at the local primary school in September, a short drive away from the new family home.
Mr 1 is also a very happy toddler who enjoys watching the world go by. He loves his naps during the day and can become a little out of routine if he doesn’t get his daily nap (who doesn’t?) You will be sole charge with him during the day when his big sister is at school so it will be a great time to explore the area and take a trip to the nearby nature park to feed the ducks. he loves to be out and about and will enjoy the social aspect of toddler groups.
You’ll really enjoy this position if you’re able to offer some flexibility to the family and occasionally add an extra day to the role if needed as both mum and dad are medical professionals and may need extra support.
- 44-55 hours per week 6:45am start daily over five days Monday to Friday
Day-to-day, you’ll be caring for the children, and keeping the general children’s area in order, preparing their meals, and taking care of their laundry.
Your mornings will involve the typical breakfast routine, before getting out of the house for school drop off and arranging a fun activity for Mr 1. The afternoons are usually made up of outdoor activities or kicking a ball around the garden together, going for a walk in the fresh air and picking up Miss 3 from school, hearing all about her day before coming home for dinner, bath, and bed.
This role requires you to have a minimum.
- 5 years childcare experience
- A fully enhanced DBS certificate (Happy Nest can assist)
- A full clean Uk driving licence
- Paediatric First Aid certificate
- A recognised childcare qualification
- Excellent checkable references
Start Date 1st August
