Happy Nest are seeking a proactive and fun junior nannyto join this busy family of three on a full time, live in basis in this beautiful family home in the heart of Brackenbury Village with it’s vibrancy and charm
The ideal nanny will be caring, fun and full of energy, whilst also being highly organised, proactive, and open to flexibility. You’ll need to have an understanding of good nutrition and have a keen interest in preparing healthy meals.
This boy – a wonderful nearly 2 year old – loves the outdoors He loves reading and drawing but thrives when his is pulling on his wellies for some outdoor play. He’s a big fan of ball games and will happily play in the sand pits and mud for as long as he can. He’s a typical happy go lucky boy. He is very sociable and adores mixing with other children so lots of toddler groups to encourage this social side of his personality.
You’ll really enjoy this position if you’re able to relax and have fun with a child on a one to one basis and enjoy taking the initiative to ensure he is entertained and stimulated with age appropriate activities. Potty training is also on the agenda for the summer months so some experience of this would be good.
The family have previously employed a junior nanny with great enthusiasm for the role and would welcome candidates who have childcare experience although not necessarily as a nanny .
Mr 2 loves activity, but thrives on routine. The ideal nanny will know how to balance the need for fun and spontaneity, with maintaining a schedule. Whilst you’re at it, and if we’re honest it goes with out saying although we’ll say it anyway, raising this little boy to be well mannered, respectful and capable little person is really important part of the job.
• 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday
Day-to-day, you’ll be in charge of caring for Mr 2 , and keeping the general child related housekeeping in order. Your main role will see you as the caring nanny. After September the plan is then for him to attend nursery locally 3 days a week so the role will drop down to 2 days and the family are then happy for you to continue the role with them and take on an additional live out role locally and will assist you in the search for a family to work alongside .
There is a large bedroom with double bed and sitting area in the attic and child shared bathroom for the nanny within this beautiful family home.
A minimum of 1 years early years childcare experience with a recognised qualification in childcare.

Salary £400-450 per week although this can be negotiable depending on your experience.
This will then reduce pro rata when the role reduces in September .
