Part-Time Professional Nanny, Tuesdays and Fridays, For Family in Leigh on Sea, Essex.
Start date: October 2020
Happy Nest Nanny Agency is seeking an accomplished and career-minded nanny for a growing family (two children, and twins due in May) for this part-time position in Leigh on Sea, Essex.
The parents are professional people who have an established and well maintained family home in Leigh on Sea. The eldest child (Mr. 5) attends school at West Leigh from 9.00am to 3.15pm. Their daughter (Miss.3) attends Little Acorns Pre School from 9:15am to 3:45pm for two days per week. The family are also looking forward to the arrival of their twin girls in May. Exciting times!
As such, they’d greatly value the support of a skilled nanny to provide additional care and support. You’ll be experienced in the early years, and with babies, and have a love for bringing your A-game.
Whilst Mum will be home on maternity leave once the twins have arrived, she does anticipate returning to work in January of 2021 two days a week. It is therefore vital you have a strong background caring for babies and toddlers.
This position is due to start in October 2020 so the family can begin the welcome process to give both the children and the nanny the best possible start to this exciting chapter ahead.
- Tuesday, and Friday; 7.30 am to 6 pm
- To have fun, and keep the children occupied and engaged with activities
- Provide healthy meals and snacks for the children
- To provide sole-charge care of the twins once mum has returned to work
- To be diligent in your ability to provide expert, nurturing, and well-rounded care for the children at all times
- Assist with baby and nursery duties
The ideal nanny will have a broad range of experience, from newborns and toddlers, through to school-age children. Laughter is a good thing in this position! So you’ll be keen to have fun and be very creative. The preferred nanny will come full of ideas and suggestions for how to fill your days with the children.
The nanny will also be confident in taking the twins out to baby groups, visiting the park and nearby beach as well as providing care and support for Mr 5 and Miss 3 for parts of the day.
Both children are born and raised by the seaside, love the beach and have lots of fun. Mr 5, although shy at times is creative, adverterous and artistic. In the Spring/Summer he loves tending to the garden and is also Daddy’s right-hand man in the kitchen.
Much like his Dad, who is a property developer, Mr 5’s lego structures are a sight to behold. He’s also funny and enjoys Marvel superheroes. He equally enjoys playing in the garden with his sister and is a keen footballer. Mr 5 is a bright, endearing and happy little boy and is very much looking forward to being a big brother to two more sisters.
We suspect you might have a little helper-in-the-making here with Mr 5, as he’s loving and caring, and very hands on. So heads up Mr 5, you might just find yourself empowered to take action!
Miss 3 – well she’s almost 3, she has a birthday in March that she’s very excited about, as I’m sure you can imagine! – is a confident young girl. As some would say, she’s a born leader. Which is to say that she’s strong-willed, and know’s her own mind. Yaass queen!
She’s very content with self-directed play and is fond of imaginative play. The little imaginative stories she creates are so enjoyable to witness. Being the quintessential 3-year-old little girl, she loves all things horses.
So whilst this family are not horsey people, Miss 3 is very passionate and the parents are keen for her to pursue this hobby as she loves her ride and groom lessons! And when shes not doing these things, she’s dancing, singing, or reading books–sometimes in a tutu, sometimes in a Spider-Man costume. You go, girl!
While driving is not essential it is preferred, especially in winter months for school journeys or for well-planned trips and activities for the children.
This is a smoke-free home. And the family don’t have any pets.
