Happy Nest Nanny Agency is seeking an accomplished and career-minded nanny for a lovely family (two children) for this part-time position in Thorpe Bay, Essex.
This is a busy family! Mum and dad are both professionals working from home under new covid guidelines They’ve one child (Miss 6) in school in Bournes Green from 9 am to 3 pm. One little boy (Mr 1) at home all day.
As such, they’d greatly value the support of a skilled nanny to provide additional care and support. You’ll be experienced in the early years, and with babies, and have a love for bringing your A-game.
Whilst mum and dad will be working from home for the forseeable future they do anticipate returning to work later in 2021 with jobs demanding of their time it’s vital you have a strong background caring for babies and toddlers.
This position is due to start in January 2021 so they hope to meet you and begin the welcome process sooner rather than later so that everyone can get organised and on the same page.

The ideal nanny will have a broad range of experience, from older babies and toddlers, through to school-age children. Laughter is a good thing in this position! So you’ll be keen to have fun and be very creative. The preferred nanny will come full of ideas and suggestions for how to fill your days with the children.
Plus, you’ll be confident to take Mr 1 out to toddler groups (once the family are comfortable with the pandemic restrictions) but mostly with trips out in the fresh air to the park or seafront.
He’s a happy little chappie with content smiles and giggles and boy does he love his sleep! He naps for at least two hours every lunchtime allowing you to prepare some food from scratch, do the family laundry and take a break. He’s already crawling and loves to snuggle up to read some of his favourite storybooks with you. He’s also just discovered his singing voice so lots of practice singing his favourite nursery rhymes together (I hope mum and dad have earphones!)
Miss 6 – well she’s almost 7, she has a birthday soon that she’s very excited about, as I’m sure you can imagine! – is a clever young girl. She is doing well at school despite lockdown and loves to be at home around her family.
She’s very content with being at home. The little imaginative stories she creates are so enjoyable to witness and she will love you to join in.Being the quintessential 6-year-old little girl, she loves all things Barbie and loves you to play alongside her. She also does go to gymnastics and is always up for a board game! And when she’s not doing these things, she’s dancing, singing, or reading books.
You do need to be a driver for this position, and the family are open to well-planned trips and activities for the children around early spring when the covid restrictions are lifted (Hopefully!)
This is a smoke-free home. And the family don’t have any pets.
