Part-Time, Pet Friendly Nanny with Early Years Experience for Family with one baby aged 9 months in Pulford, Cheshire

Happy Nest are seeking a kind, caring, and nurturing nanny to join this loving family with one little boy aged 9 months in Pulford, Cheshire. This is a permanent, part time position, working three days a week Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Now if you’re experienced in the art of caring for a baby boy, you’ll know there’s not much time to sit around! He will soon be on the move and excited to explore his surroundings. With that being said, he does love a good cuddle, so you’ll recognise when it’s time for some quiet time too.

  • Permanent, part time role, working three days Mon, Tues, Wednesday 8am-5pm

Nanny Duties:

On a day-to-day basis, this nanny role will encompass the things you’re well experienced in, and a dab hand at. You’ll be familiar with preparing healthy meals for baby, the family follow a plant-based diet, so you’ll need to have an understanding of plant-based recipes and enjoy researching new tastes for baby to experiment.,

And given your love for the early years, and for supporting baby with all of his needs as he grows and develops, you’ll love the opportunity to take him to regular classes and activities finding new adventures for him to enjoy and explore.

Mum and Dad really want this to be a nanny and family partnership, they are keen for their little one to see and explore the wonder of everything around him and to get close to nature and immerse him in his environment. We’re talking Forest schools, mud kitchens and scavenger hunts for creepy crawlies. Planning everything to engage him and learn with the outside world and his surroundings to capture his imagination, nurture his curiosity and embrace his energy.

He is already in a great routine and a very happy baby, his day typically starts around 6.30 and when you arrive at 8am he’ll be tucking into a lovely breakfast of porridge, pancakes and avocado. He has a morning nap before he is ready for playtime. Lunchtime is around 12.30pm then another longer nap and then it’s time for for some serious fun with trips to a nearby park, maybe a music class or some finger painting. He enjoys sensory activities so during his nap it would be good to plan some messy play or a tough tray or two or batch cook some tasty lunches.

. Dinner time is around 4-4.30pm depending on the day’s activities and both mum and dad then like to settle him down for the evening with some books (Emma Dodds books are a family favourite) and he enjoys cuddling up for those while he has his bottle.

This little boy does sound like an absolute dream and we would like to find a nanny that will continue with this lovely routine but also offer new ideas to these lovely first-time parents. It’s a lovely easy-going household with lots of fun and laughter and with mum working from home she will welcome a new nanny to support her.

The ideal candidate for this nanny position in Cheshire will have the presence of mind to ensure all areas are covered, even when they don’t need to be and creative with new ideas. Your experience in a similar role will mean you’re unflappable, and that you’ve usually got a backup plan in mind to account for the unexpected. And whether two legged, or four legged with the family’s pet cat you’ll be the type of person who’s always ready to give or receive a cuddle.
