This lovely family from Stroud , Gloucestershire , require an engaging live out nanny to provide sole charge care of their adorable 2 year old son 2 full days a week
The family would love a nanny who really is just all about the play and fun for this lovely boy . As like most toddlers he moves onto the next activity really quickly. The perfect nanny will be happy to do playdough one minute, then read a book the next, play cars , then move onto building some amazing towers out of blocks only to knock them down because oh yes, he’s a toddler and his attention span means the toy car is perfect for ruining towers!
Your primary duties are to keep him amused and engaged, ensure he’s well cared for at all times, and is happy. It would be a bonus for age appropriate activities, and games that can stimulate his growth and development. You’ll also be required to assist with getting his meals and snacks ready, , and some light nursery duties, keeping the books and toys in order , sorting his laundry but the main focus is on developing and nurturing his natural curiosity. He is a very independent young man who loves to do things for himself. He loves all things to do with transport including diggers , cars and fire engines. The family also have a large garden with swings and a sandpit ( great for those diggers ! )
He is a great eater and happy to try new tastes and textures although it is worth noting that the family follow a vegetarian diet .
There are some beautiful walks in the area and the family are very happy for you to explore the local area and meet other children at local groups and classes.
The perfect candidate will have a positive and fun personality and work on their own initiative, you’ll need to be reliable with a great background in childcare and have excellent references .
