Part Time Nanny Housekeeper for A Family With Two Craft-Loving Children in Caterham, Surrey
Happy Nest are seeking an experienced nanny housekeeper for a family with two school aged children in Caterham.
These two children – 4.5 year old girl, and a 6-year-old girl – live in the lovely town of Caterham, Surrey and are hoping to meet the perfect nanny to join them on their after school adventures.
This is a part time nanny role, primarily with after school hours from 4.30pm to 7pm. Which means you’ll be on the school run (make sure you queue up those podcasts) and helping with the general afternoon movements and activities.
The children attend school in Bletchingley (about a 15 minute drive from their residence), so you’ll need to be a driver. Don’t have a car to use? All good! The family are happy to make the necessary arrangements on their car insurance and provide you with theirs to use for work purposes.
Although this is typically an after school nanny position, additional hours can be offered. And the family are keen to welcome a nanny / housekeeper who’s able to keep the house in tip top shape in addition to caring for the children.
- Monday to Friday; 4.30pm to 7pm
- Extra hours could be available for additional nanny / housekeeper duties
Surrey Nanny Duties:
These two children seem a little bit chalk and cheese. But why not be the judge yourself!
Familiar with the Nutcracker? Good. You’re probably going to hear it a bit! Miss 4.5 is a little ballerina. Aren’t they just so cute in their little tutus and pink slippers. Really she loves all kinds of dancing (and she’s also a budding gymnast).
She quite enjoys playing Lego (as long as it’s pink Lego), and will absolutely adore you if you give her some one to one attention when taking on a craft activity. Miss 4.5 will also happily sit and read. What a dream! Yass to bookworms everywhere!
Just like his younger sister, Mr 6 is also quite creative. He really enjoys colouring and crafts (you might become a regular at Hobbycraft with these two), and builds the coolest things out of his Lego. Spend a little bit of time with him, and you’ll really notice that Mr 6 is quite the deep thinker. In touch with his emotions, his personality can swing from crazy football mad active boy (standard), to a caring and gentle young boy.
As the nanny (housekeeper) for this family, you’ll see to the children’s needs in the afternoons. After collecting them from school, you’ll help with homework, offer healthy snacks, keep the general areas in a tidy manner, and give your attention to the children. They’re keen to tell you all about their day!
You’ll also need to prepare the evening meal each day. The good news here is that both children have really good appetites and are not picky with their food. #winning
What do you think? Fancy a role that will leave your cup full of joy and admiration each day? We’ve a feeling these two littles are a bit special.
